KONTI KAN SPIRAL PIPE is a spiral structure pipe made of high density polyethylene (PE-HD) with nominal diameter Ø 1300 – 2000 mm OD (outer diameter).

KONTI KAN SPIRAL PIPE is made of PEHD profile spirally wound on a drum with specific diameter. It contains all technical advantages of equivalent polyethylene pipes with full walls significantly decreasing the weight, providing much easier installation and increased efficiency. Its unique structure offers a range of pipe dimensions and various classes of incompressibility, all depending on the clients’ requirements.

USE:
The properties of the raw material and technology of the product have been combined in order to allow the use of this product in:

  • Municipalities for infrastructure objects
  • Industry
  • Construction of roads
  • Reconstructions

PIPE STIFFNESS
The stiffness of the pipes is one of the main parameters for designing gravity pipes. Stiffness is expressed in kN/m2 and represents the pipes’ resistance to external loads, such as ground pressure. The stiffness of KONTI KAN SPIRAL PIPES has been defined in accordance with standard EN ISO 9969. KONTI KAN SPIRAL PIPES are made for standard classes of stiffness SN 4, SN 8 and SN 10. For replacement in non-standard projects, pipes of different SN values can be produced, such as SN 2 or similar.

STANDARDS
KONTI KAN SPIRAL PIPES are produced in accordance with standards EN 13476-3, DIN 16961, and they also meet the corresponding national standards for this type of products in different countries, such as ASTM F 894; CSA B 182.6 or BNQ 3624-120.
